Next up on my Body Transformation Series is Larissa! She is a great example of a warrior who has battled through health issues she has no control over. Being pre diabetic, weight loss and nutrition is way more complicated then for a typical girl trying to get in shape and shed a few pounds. Larissa’s success is purely from her determination and her “mind over matter” mindset. We all know how hard it is to lose weight for anyone, she has more drawbacks then most and look what she’s been able to battle through and accomplish! So proud of you Larissa! Keep up the amazing work and remember how many girls you are inspiring with your story 🙂
I’ve struggled with weight loss for a very long time, ever since I was 13 and diagnosed as a prediabetic. My senior year I really began to focus on a life change, not just dieting. I wanted to really set my goals nutritionally and physically to combat health problems I had no control over. I started a metabolic training workout this past February. I currently weigh 170lbs, with 35lbs of weight loss but also lost a significant amount of inches around my waist line and arms. I have a bit more to go, but I’m very proud of my own accomplishments so far. I hope to inspire people to make life changes to better themselves too.
